Desmond Dennis, Jamaican born and grown in Trench Town, became involved in music because he live so close to several sound systems the likes of Tokyo The Monarch, Bells, Duke Reid and Sir Coxson in the downtown area of Kingston.

He is interested in joining the VRCA Team, NY Chapter as he's impressed with the way VRCA promotes music and vinyl collecting, as well as the outreach programs VRCA supports in Jamaica , USA and Canada. 

Music is a great part of his life... currently he is a regular presenter on CKN Internet Radio Network, playing out of NY. 

He began collecting records in Jamaica back in 1960's and in NY after he migrated in 1979. 

He hopes to be able to help The NY chapter and VRCA as a whole in continuing the VRCA traditions.
